What do the ‘VIN “T”‘ and “Base” parts of the engine description for a ’94 Chevy Lumina mean?
I’m looking at a set of fuel injectors for a 94 chevy lumina and the description of the engine they work with says 1994: 6Cyl 3.1L “Gas, FI, VIN ”T”” Base. Other descriptions say VIN “X” and stuff. Also, my lumina is a Euro. Instead of “Base,” some of the descriptions for other injectors list “Euro.” however, if I go on any other car parts website, it doesn’t ask anything about a VIN letter or whether it’s a Euro or not or anything. How can I tell for sure if this injector set would work for me?
Most parts as long as they are for a 3.1 work fine. Euro was more of a handling thing and other stuff. If Your engine is a 3.1 V6 you are fine for getting normal parts. However if you got the fancy Z34 lumina that’s the 3.4 DOHC V6 “most fun chevy made” engine. That’s is a completely different injector.
